Derryville Rail Services (DRS) is a rail infrastructure business committed to delivering highly experienced working crews for rail maintenance activities as well as providing specialised inspection services. Operating throughout NSW, DRS is located on the Hunter Valley with capabilities to operate across Australia; offering "on demand" quality solutions through collaborative development for the delivery of cost effective and timely projects.
DRS has a proud safety record. The safety of our workers and the rail safety system is, and will always be, the primary driver of all DRS activities.
Our extensive experience covers niche services throughout railway operations and maintenance.
At DRS we understand the necessity of maintaining the network to cope with the high volume and weight (approximately 12.5 million tonnes) being transported monthly across the network to service the Hunter Valley coal transportation industry on the ARTC network. We ensure and maintain safe work practices while minimising any impact on operational infrastructure and understand what is required to work in a complex rail operating environment.
DRS has well developed methodologies and innovative planning. We also use standard practices to deliver safe outcomes to a high quality, within time and on budget, while working in the network.
DRS has the people, experience and management systems to effectively deliver our niche service projects across Australia, bringing innovative solutions to our clients.
We have the flexibility and capability to tailor our people, services and equipment to meet project specific requirements.
Where necessary we are able to integrate works with day to day train operations while minimising operational impact.
Derryville Rail Services has access to, and has used a workforce of over 60 trained and qualified Rail Industry Workers on previous Projects.
This dedicated group of people are our greatest asset and the driving force behind our business.
Good people are the key to all of the primary principles of our company and we understand that by putting them first we can ensure continued safety, performance and strengthened partnerships and alliances.
